A hollow pole with a pulley affixed to the top end. A rope is threaded through this apparatus, exiting through the pulley at the top. The whole shlamozzle is then attached to the side of a tower via the usea clamping device. This apparatus is then used to assist in the erection of antennae onto the tower.

Note: the rope must be threaded prior to attaching the pole to the tower.
