fnar

A certain type of laugh that is used after someone says a double entendre to indicate that you got it, and also to warn the person saying it, in case they did it unwittingly. May also be doubled to "fnar fnar".

Also used by Finbar Saunders (and his double entendres) in Viz magazine, a smutty but funny British comic.

Finbar also went in for oo-er and yikes and snarf-snarf as well as many others. The joke was the same every episode, in that Finbar's mother and Mr Gimlet would discuss perfectly innocent situations (such as 'erecting' a tent - "Would you like me to put my pole between your flaps now, Mrs Saunders?") while Finbar would burst his guts laughing.

Viz is not as funny as it used to be
