I saw a woman today with a near-full beard. I was repulsed, though I kept a straight face.

Why is this disgusting?

Is it because we associate facial hair with masculinity?

Possibly, but don't you find women who are strong of both heart and body (stereotypical masculine traits) to be attractive?

Perhaps it's because it's not a social norm?

Since when did you care about social norms?

Perhaps because it's unkempt and looks ratty, and you are repulsed by it as much as by the young teenagers who try to show off their puberty by not shaving?

Yes, but there's more to it. Isn't there?
