The etherkiller is a "tool" of Simon Travaglia's fictional Bastard Operator from Hell, used to destroy network equipment (and any unfortunate lusers in electrical contact therewith). It consists of "[a] mains plug with [a] thinwire ethernet plug at the end"; basically, a wall-socket-to-ethernet adaptor. Similar the idea of the Blotto Box from everyone's favorite Anarchist Cookbook, it is designed to apply extremely unhealthy amounts of electricity to delicate components for the simple purpose of destroying them.
