An inside joke for people who owned Apple's Newton PDA. It was known for it's poor Handwriting recognition, (not graffiti, regular translation).

This joke came from an old Doonesbury comic episode, where he was trying it out, and it kept translating it into gibberish, like "egg freckles." Apple's NewtonOS team made that into an easter egg, where if you write it and hit "assist," you get the hidden credits displayed. (See also Eat up Martha.)
