Good advice for people just entering a
relationship. Saying "
I love you" automatically attaches some kind of
commitment to that person. If you really love me, how can you go and dump me four weeks later without even an attempt at
communication about any
problems you might have with the relationship?
I think in particular that lots of
high school relationships are this
pointless. Before you say "I love you" you should make sure that you're in a
meaningful relationship. Sorry if this sounds
bitter - my first girlfriend in high school didn't communicate with me well and I assumed that since she told me she "loved" me everything was well. She dumped me 6 weeks later and I still don't know why.
