Possibly the English language's most irritating typo, if only because it's so frequent and so easily avoided.

Remember, the root of the word "definite" is "finite". Finite, usually pronounced as something akin to "fine night" should be a helpful reminder that it is "definite" and not "definate", hence the correct spelling, "definitely".
