Old derogatory gamer slang used to describe elves
and vegetarians in general

in the game shadowrun, elves have no canine teeth. they are called dandelion eaters for their vegan ways and because it reflects a fruity, wood spritey kinda, lazy, nature-boy attitude.

Dandelion greens (leaves), if picked when young, fresh, and tender, make a great salad. You have to get them in early spring, though, before they get bitter. And don't eat them if they've been mowed. Who wants to dress their salad with vinegar and 10-W-40?

I know it sounds ridiculous, but don't knock it 'till you try it.
