Cyberanthropology can be one of two things.

Most cyberanthropologists are people who engage in extended data-mining expeditions that can extend over multiple machines and multiple years' worth of data.

Cyberanthropology is also a new, small, little-known branch of cybersociology which involves the study of online communities and groups through the electronic debris they leave behind.
