A name used for any shoes falling under the crepe soled family. Not only are they crepe soled, but sound of footfalls is somewhat more insulated, inabling the wearer to 'creep' up on whatever. Creepers used to be more of a Brittish punk style of footwear, but it doesn't matter because they're comfortable and they look fuckin' cool.
