What you do when you squeal the tires of a car or other land-based vehicle that has a large enough horsepower to weight ratio that it can accelerate the tires so suddenly, so that they overcome the coefficient of static friction on the pavement and sit there and spin a bit, leaving black rubber marks, before they finally catch and the vehicle takes off.

Many law enforcement agencies with traffic enforcement responsibilities refer to this as exhibition of acceleration, which is kind of funny because any vehicle that moves must exhibit acceleration by definition.

Also humorous because you are not accelerating as fast as possible while burning rubber, since the tires are spinning rather than moving you forward. The offense should be called reckless acceleration or something.
