I woke up in bed with my gf
the other morning, and for reasons best known to herself, she desired a burger
. I, however, wanted a full english breakfast
. A compromise was reached in the shape of the breakfast burger
- Fry the burger patties for about 2/3 of the recommended cooking time, in a non stick frying pan. 5 minutes before the patties are done, add the bacon to the pan.
- In a second pan, boil some water with a few drops of vinegar added, crack in the eggs, and cover for ~3 minutes.
- 2 minutes before the burgers are ready, add 2 slices of beef tomato to the frying pan.
- Assemble the burger as;
- bottom of bun
- burger patty
- poached egg
- top of bun
- Serve to a ravenous partner.
