The state of a thing, usually a vehicle (like a

motorcycle) that has had no modifications done to it, no matter how
trivial, since its emergence from the
factory doors.
This is a stronger sense of the term "stock". "Box stock" could imply that the item in question hasn't even been used that much, let alone altered in any way.
