On cars, in warm climates
it's cool
on windows, downtown
it creates a distance
inside and out.
Stacked in layers,
on suburban office buildings
it's anonymous
and threatening

On a bar table,
it's a mirror to your hands
and her face
looking down,
wondering if you are looking there
for her intent, refracted.
