A special type of
sewing needle, useful primarily for working with glass beads.
The beading needle is longer, and thinner than a standard needle, because the hole of a glass bead is less giving than the average piece of fabric. An irritating side effect is that beading needles are extremely difficult to thread without a needle threader.
