A degree is marked like a small superscript 'o', ° (HTML: °), an arcminute is indicated with a single prime mark, ′ (HTML: ′), and an arcsecond is indicated with a double prime mark, ″ (HTML: ″). Thus, 814731/1296000 of a revolution is written as 226° 18′ 51″ and pronounced as 226 degrees, 18 (arc)minutes and 51 (arc)seconds. (When the context obviously refers to an angle, rather than a period of time, the 'arc' in 'arcminute' and 'arcsecond' can be left off.)
