A model of computation where many unreliable processors work in parallel to perform a task, often with only limited communication. Amorphous computers could be built out of nanotecnology or out of living cells, i.e. bilogical computing. This model could also apply when you have thousands of microchips in your house from all the applicances and consumer electronics. It can be used for such diverse applications as intelligent materials and trippy pictures.
