Yukito Kishiro is most recognized for his graphic novel Battle Angel Alita ("Gunnm" in the original Japanese) which spans 9 trade paperbacks and roughly 2000 pages in Viz's version. His other notable work is Aqua Knight. A new "Gunnm" series called "Gunnm: Last Order" is rumored to be in production now.
