Woking Borough is in Surrey, England.
Woking has been around since at least the 15th century. Even its tourism bureau admits that Woking really wasn't all that much to speak of until they opened the first crematorium in all Great Britain back in 1885. It's also home to the first mosque in Britain, the Shah Jehan Mosque. And H. G. Wells wrote at least some of War of the Worlds while living there.
