My darling,

Were I to shave all the hair of my body,
Hair on my head grown down to my shoulders,
Moustache, sideburns, beardly beard,
Hairy chest, arms and legs,
And many other patches discreetly placed,
Leaving naught but my eyebrows and eyelashes....

And were you to shave all the hair of your body,
Though there be naught but the hair on your head
Grown down past the middle of your back,
And one other patch discreetly placed,
Leaving naught but your eyebrows and eyelashes....

And were we to place my scruffled bundles of hair on one end of a scale
And your long sheen of hair on the other....

Then you would see that
People would think we were nuts.
