Watch your step, a step too soon.

A long morning, A long day, A long night.
An ironic end to a perfect day.
What would be a more poetic end,
Than that of despair and destruction?

A quiet intersection. A lone street.
A full moon, a Friday, the Friday.
Superstition? Or fate.
Both the 13th Day, and a full moon.

A flashing red light, a tranquil view.
A moment to reflect missed.
Watch your step! A step too soon.
Look both ways son. Look again.

Light transverses the windows.
Silence filters throughout.
A loud nothingness.
The rush of live.

The squeal of rubber on pavement.
A perfect end. A perfect day.
Destruction concluded,
Saturday begins.
