Waldo, Florida is a small town in the north-central part of the state, about 15 miles northeast of Gainesville. Waldo is in the northeastern corner of Alachua County, Florida.

The town's population's approx. 1000. It has recently gained some notoriety as one of the worst speed traps in Florida.

Waldo, FL also has a large farmer's market and flea market which draws large crowds. On a quick drive through Waldo earlier today, it otherwise looked like a typical small southeastern town with small houses, trailers, and a few places to eat. I didn't see anyone in a red and white cap...

There's also town/cities/villages of Waldo in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, and Wisconsin (as well as probably a few others). There's also a Waldo County, Maine.

Now, you can confidently answer "Where's Waldo?".
