"WMCN 91.7 FM, Macalester College Radio in St. Paul, Minnesota." Everybody's favorite college radio station. Back on the air fall 2000 after a 1-year hiatus (the transmitter got broken), their signal reaches most of St. Paul, much of Minneapolis, and a bit of the surrounding areas. They are considering moving into low-power FM, which would allow them to reach the entire Twin Cities area. WMCN's mission is to be a "non-commercial, educational station designed to serve the musical and informational needs and desires of the Macalester population and its surrounding communities."
