A Viennese psychiatrist, lived 1905-1997.

Father of the "third school" of Viennese psychotherapy, called logotherapy. He believed that the primary motivation of the individual is to find meaning in life.

Dr. Frankl developed his most important work as a result of imprisonment in concentration camps during the early 40's. An account of this can be found in his classic book, Man's Search for Meaning, which has sold over nine million copies in 26 languages.

On a personal note, Viktor Frankl changed the way I look at reality and life in a very profound way. I recommend his book to anyone who, like me, has a powerful drive to understand.
