A fantastic book by Theodore Sturgeon, written in 1960. In his own words, it was his "aim in writing Venus Plus X a) to write a decent book b) about sex". This is an ambitious undertaking (especially in 1960) that Sturgeon pulled of masterfully.

Charlie Johns, a regular twentieth century man finds himself in the strange world of Ledom. The people of Ledom devote their time to the arts, playing with children, and studying science. There is no fear, no war, no famine.

And no gender.
