Velouria is one of the few songs the
Pixies recorded with a music video. They were never really mainstream enough for
MTV anyway.
The video was filmed in what appeared to be a rock
quarry with a stationary camera. The entire video consisted of watching the band run towards the
camera. At super super
slow mo it took 3 minutes and 37 seconds for them to cover the 25 feet or so.

I haven't seen the video for quite awhile, I saw it once
MTV 2 but since
I don't have cable I'm not that aware of what crap is on MTV anymore. A much cooler visual representation of the band is probably the performance of
