The writeup that cost me a mere 10 minutes of my time and which, in my opinion, isn't even all that well written, somehow was far better recieved than anything I sat and thought about for any amount of time- the writeups which I feel are brilliantly written and thoughtful. Some of my best writeups have been culled after losing too much rep.. I wouldn't mind, maybe I have it all wrong and the writeups I feel are written well are actually pointless and directionless ramblings. But what I would really like is if those who downvote me, sent me a /msg detailing exactly where I am wrong and why (or better yet, submit a rebuttal).. telling me how I could present my ideas in a more readable and lucid way, telling me exactly what they didn't like about what I wrote because without this feedback, I will never improve as a writer
