My alma mater, located in Houston, Texas. Known mainly for their research in superconductivity and for having really lame sports teams for the most part (as reflected in perpetual student apathy). Although having Clyde Drexler coaching the men's hoops team is pretty cool. Even have a law school there, from which I also graduated (and routinely ignore their pleas for money now like everybody else). Often called "Cougar High" by derisive University of Texas and TAMU alums (who nonetheless often end up finishing their degrees there).
