Ulster Volunteer Force.
Originally founded in the early twentieth century to resist Home Rule for Ireland. A form of the organisation sprung up again with the onset of The Troubles in Northern Ireland, and were the main Loyalist Paramilitary force. They are currently maintaining a ceasefire and their political representatives, the PUP, took part in the negotiations which led to the Good Friday Agreement.
