yes sirree, just like the ones food services makes:

Ingredients
3 cups (canadian) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
5 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup margarine
1 large egg, slightly beaten
1 cup milk

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Combine egg and milk. Stir into dry ingredients.

Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead very lightly, about 10 times. Pat or roll dough into a 1/2-inch thick circle. Cut out scones with a 2 1/2 inch (6cm) round floured cutter.an easier variation is to divide the dough into three circles, and then cut each of those into quarters with a floured knife

Place scones 1 inch apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 450°F (230°C) for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 18 scones.

Variations: One cup of raisins or grated cheese may be added to the dough (or whatever else you like)
