Daughter of actor James Daly, ex-wife of actor/director Georg Stanford Brown. Longtime co-star of Cagney and Lacey, replacing cult 70s überbabe Meg Foster (fired for "looking too butch" - WTF? - but, of course, we were watching Monday Night Football anyway). In recent years has graced the stage, in Gypsy (for which she won a Tony Award - impressive, for surely Rosalind Russell's ghost loomed large), On The Town... She's back on television, in some television show.
