This is a
sculpture called
"Troll, that smells christianblood" and is made by
Niels Hansen Jacobsen (
1861-
1941). It's made of
Bronze, Modelled in
1895-
96. It was ordered in
bronze by
Carl Jakobsen in
1901-
02.
The
sculpture is placed at The Ny
Carlsberg Glyptotek garden

The Reason I'm
writing this is because I often see this
statue when I walk by it.
In the
summer of
'96, my
girlfriend at that time took a couple of
pictures of me
Riding the
troll, while we were having a
picnic in the
garden.
I've also made a few
Drawings of the
troll, and I enjoy going to the
Glyptotek.

I asked one of the
custodians about the
Statue and was told the
facts about it.
