Season 1889/90

In 1889 the club joined the Football Association as a full member. Crowds were increasing ever greater yet Tottenham Hotspur were still considered minnows compared to the mighty northern clubs. You can see why looking at there comparative record, reaching only the second round of the Middlesex Cup whilst not even managing that in the London Cup.
