An inner eastern suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Toorak is synonymous with "rich". Whilst of course not every Toorakian is a millionaire, the suburb is home to a great many mansions as well as modern units and flats. The suburb is highly conservative, with a high population of WASPs. Peter Costello is the federal MP.

Toorak is well served by public tansport - trams, trains and buses. It has many trendy coffeeshops and cafes, music and clothing stores. It is adjacent to the suburbs of Armadale, Malvern, Prahran and South Yarra.

The main thouroughfares of the suburb are Toorak Road and Chapel Street. The former is known for the local young hoons who, bored, see how fast they can go in this lightly policed area. The latter is the trendiest street in Melbourne and is hence filled with terrible "Irish" pubs, cafes, coffeeshops, music and clothing stores, trendy yuppie types and aforementioned young hoons, cruising with an untz untz untz.

Toorak train station is located on the Pakenham, Frankston and Cranbourne train lines.
