noun

Toaster sweat is a phenomenon similar to "toast sweat" [TS], yet does not involve the actual toast-to-surface transmission seen in most documented TS occurances. Toaster sweat is the mass of beaded water that appears and collects under your (or someone elses) toaster or toaster-oven when toasting bread or bread-like objects.

A Blue Peter moment:
Toast a couple of pieces of bread. Once the toast pops up, move the toaster back a few inches. There on the counter you will undoubtedly witness the chaotic beauty that is toaster sweat. You will then be part of a small but growing number of individuals who have discovered that bread minus water equals toast.

Bumper sticker:
"I've seen toaster sweat and I vote."
