Third World Debt

The actual Third World Debt as explained by Guaipuro Cuauhtémoc, an Aztec descendant:

So here am I, Guaipuro Cuauhtémoc, descendent of the people who, 40.000 years ago, populated America.

I came to meet from those who "discovered it" 500 years ago: we know who we are.

These are my Brothers.

I can also claim my due, I can also claim interests.

Indies Files make state, with lots of papers, recepts and signatures, of what, between years 1503 and 1660, arrived at San Lucar de Barrameda (Spain): 185.000 kilos of gold and 16 millions kilos of silver, all coming from America.

Plundering?

That would not come to my mind !

It would be believing that our Christian Brother do not respect their Seventh Commandment.

Spoliation?

For God's sake ! How can I imagine that Europeans, as Caïn, kill their brother, then dissimulate his blood?!

Genocide?

This would be believing slanderers: Bartolomé de Las Casas and all those who called our Meeting "destruction of the Indies", or extremists like Dr. Arturo Pietri, who affirms that the rise of Capitalism and the current European Civilization are due to the noble metal that you, my European brothers, took from the hands of those who, in America, are also my Brothers!

No!

These 185.000 kilos of gold and these 16 million kilos of silver must be considered as the first among the various loans we did in favour of the development of Europe.

Disagreeing with this fact would be establishing the existence of war crimes, which would grant us the right to require not only an immediate refunding, but also a compensation for all the damages.

Me, Guaipuro Cuauhtémoc, I prefer to assume this is a loan as less offending hypothesis.

Such fabulous capital exports were just the consequence of our Marshall-tezuma Plan : our Contribution to the rebuild the barbaric Europe, after it was ruined by his deplorable wars against the cultivated Muslims, defenders of Algebra, Architecture, the Daily Bath and other higher contributions to the Civilization.
For this reason, 500 years after this "Loan", we have the right to wonder whether our European Brothers made a rational, responsible, or at least productive use of the resources so liberally advanced by the Indo-American International Fund?

We regrettably have to be negative about this issue.

The assertion of Milton Friedman, according to whom "An assisted economy will never work properly", comes to corroborate these deplorable facts and obliges us to claim - for our Brothers' own good - the payment of the capital and the interests, liberally delayed century after century.

It is quite clear, however, that we will not claim an - infamous and cruel - 20% and up to 30% interest rate, that our European brothers expects the Third World to pay.

We will limit ourselves to require the restitution of the advanced noble metals, plus a moderate interest fixes of 10% per annum, interest calculated over the 300 last years.

On this basis, and according to the European formula of the cumulated interest, we inform our Discoverers that they only owe us, as a first payment of their debt, a quantity of 185.000 kilos gold and 16 million kilos of money, each of these elevated to its 300th power.
I.e. a number which, if it had to be expressed, would call upon more than 300 digits and a quantity of metal which weight would largely exceed the Earth's weight.

How they weigh, these silver and gold masses!

What would they weigh if their equivalent in blood were calculated?

To plead that Europe, in one half-millennium, did not manage to generate enough money to pay this low interest would be admitting its absolute financial failure and/or the irrational dementiality of the capitalism.

It is true that, we Indo-Americans, are not worried by such metaphysic questions.

But, yes : we require the immediate signature of an agreement which imposes a discipline to the people involved in this debt to the Old Continent and obliges them to fill their engagements by a privatization or a fast reconversion of Europe, so that this Europe is delivered to us in accordance with the first payment of an historical debt.

The pessimists of the Old World affirm that their civilization is in full bankruptcy, and that this prevents them from filling their financial commitments and moral?

If this were the case, we would be satisfied to receive in payment the bullet that killed the poet.

But this will not be possible:

This bullet is the heart of Europe.
