This is a very popular cookie, espicially in my household, and I know very few who actually do not like them.

It would appear that the Girl Scouts have made some changes to the cookies since the ABC site of December, 2000. So here, since the latest batch of cookies has been delivered, is the spring, 2001 ingredient listing and nutritional information.

Ingredients: sugar, enriched wheat flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate {vitamin b1}, riboflavin {vitamin b2}, folic acid), vegetable shortening (contains one or more of the following oils: partially hydrogenated soybean, palm kernel, coconut, palm and/or cottonseed), cocoa, caramel color, cocoa (processed with alkali), invert sugar, cornstarch, whey, leavening (sodium bicarbonate, monocalcium phosphate), salt, soy lecithin, artificial flavors, oil of peppermint
Nutrition Facts They have significantly reduced the saturated fat and sodium content in a serving, and reduced the size of the actual cookie by a small amount (approximately .75g per cookie).
