The Lords of Midnight is one of the classic computer games. It was written by Mike Singleton and published in 1984 by Beyond Software. Graphics, size, the first person perspective, and the combination of RPG and wargame were all revolutionary for the time. Originally planned as a trilogy it was followed by Doomdark's Revenge but the final part (to be titled The Eye of the Moon) was not published until 1995, then titled Lords of Midnight: The Citadel.
