I work in a bakery, so I get to work early; before dawn, before any human should have to wake up. My stereo comes on in the middle of the night, tuned to Triple J.

I'm dreaming, and there's music in my dream. I wake up before I can find out where it's coming from, and the same music is emanating from my stereo - the transition from dream to reality is seamless.
This happens with other things too, my alarm clock will appear in my dream as a telephone's ring, but it's just the real world calling me again.
Is the real world stalking me?

The sounds become distorted as they pass into my unconscious state. They are like unfocused images, they have no definition.
I can hear something, but it's a shapeless aural mass.

Suddenly it snaps into view, and it's a Queen song that I haven't heard in years.
The only light in the room is the orange LCD display on the stereo, I can't form a single coherent thought, and I suddenly feel sure that I've loved this song since I first heard it.

In a few moments my brain will switch on and I'll have to stumble into the cold morning air, but I think I'll wait a few minutes.

I wanna make a supersonic man outta you too, Freddy.
