It should be noted that the kitchen of the Waldof-Astoria hotel has added more dishes to the list that is American Cuisine than any single kitchen in American history. This was accomplished through meeting the sometimes odd requests of its famous patrons and often times adding them to the menu. Some of the most famous of these dishes are the Waldorf Salad and Eggs Benedict.
