Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou (His and Her Circumstances) is
Tenshi no Yubikiri which translates into
An Angel's Promise, though "
yubikiri" is more literally translated as "
pinky swear" (if you watch the series you will understand the reference). It captures perfectly in a four and a half minute song, what is portrayed during the entire 26 episode of this
anime series by
GAINAX. It is also another instance of a
Japanese song (in particular one used for anime) having
English lyrics ("
You may dream" and "
Dreams come true" in this case) interlaced within the Japanese ones.
