An eco warrier who made the British headlines during the late 1990s over plans to transform ancient woodland into a concrete jungle.

Mass protest, or civil unrest as the BBC called it. With a party of like minded souls, Swampy and his crew were criticised for caring about trees and animals than employment for people in areas of mass unemployment.
