Seattle-based post-grunge pop/rock group. While often compared to the Posies, Super Deluxe offers a unique blend of slick guitar riffs and intelligent lyrics which help them stand out.

The band formed in 1994 when drummer Chris Lockwood and bassist Jake Nesheim attended a solo gig by singer/guitarist Braden Blake. The group filled out their lineup with guitarist/vocalist John Kirsch soon after.

After two albums with moderate critical acclaim but lackluster sales (listed below), the band mostly dissapeared from the scene in late 1999, with news of drummer Lockwood's departure coming in early 2000.
