The trade name of the non-profit California Fruit Growers Exchange that was adopted in 1952. The exchange was founded in 1902 for the sake of, well, marketing oranges. It controls about 70% of all citrus crops in the state of California and is the largest produce marketing cooperative in the world. In addition to distributing citrus...it is also associated with the Sunkist Orange Soda that is found in stores throughout the United States (Although it is manufactured by Dr Pepper/7Up).

Sunkist is arranged of 20 district exchanges, about 25 local associations (Packinghouses) that amount to more than 6,500 members as of date.
