This is an easy and quick sauce to make. The tanginess of the sun-dried tomatoes is a nice balance to the softer basil flavor. This sauce is great on pasta and but it could also be used on chicken.

7 oz. sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
1 tbs minced garlic
1 tbs olive oil
1 cup heavy or whipping cream
2 tbs butter
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
freshly ground pepper to taste

  1. Heat the olive oil over medium heat, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Add sun-dried tomatoes and basil, sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Add cream, cook for another minute, then add butter and cheese.
  4. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes and then use on your favorite pasta or chicken.
