A logical fallacy in which an explanation is given to explain some phenomenon, but the explanation is false because the phenomenon doesn't actually happen. Although this can be a fun game, it has no place in logical argument.

Example: "The reason i'm so popular is that i'm nice to everyone." False, because i'm unpopular.

To prove the fallacy, identify the phenomenon and show that there's no reason to believe it actually occurred.
