Describes what happens to the cursor when it moved too fast on a laptop with an passive matrix laptop screen. The cursor would seem to "disappear" until it stopped moving, and then presumably come up for air. Microsoft implemented a feature called mousetrails to cope with early laptop screens, on which this problem was rife.
