Collin Creek
Mall. I'm not sure what it is about this place, but I assure you, there are more
strollers in this mall
per capita than any other place on Earth. There are such vast quantities of these child transport devices, one would wonder whether this is the center of all procreative activities in America. There are
mothers, young and old alike, that
loiter around the noisy,
sterile (in appearance only, mind you)
corridors, exposing their infant children to all kinds of possibly - no, probably - contaminated materials.
People, please understand. The mall is no place for infants. It is dangerous there. Just the other day, we had a mother attempt to push her stroller up the escalator, such a stupid act that resulted in the stroller tipping, the baby falling out of the stroller and down the side of the escalator. Paramedics were called, and the baby was lucky to have survived the 15 foot fall. Plus, strollers are a good object to snag your feet on, since they are not in most peoples' fields of vision (Do you stare down at your feet when you walk?).
Any way you look at it, strollers are an inconvenience. It must be a burden for a mother to have to pay constant attention to her child while shopping, and they're a terrible impediment to anybody who works at the mall. And from the child's perspective, it's noisy, cramped, and there are people everywhere. And you wonder why it's hard to keep an infant quiet in a mall?
