nick-name for a style of
motorcycle that is generally a
street-legal version of those designed for
endurance and
road-racing competitions. The are designed and styled for
performance and generally have higher levels of
acceleration,
braking and
manoeuverability than other styles.
Well known examples of this style are the
Kawasaki Ninja and the
Honda CBR series.
