The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, SIAC, is a NCAA Division II conference. It was formed in 1913 as the The Southeastern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. With the purpose of creating an organization to sponser athletic contests amongst Black colleges in the southeast. In 1929 it was renamed to the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the current name. The conference has a long rich history with 3 institutions (Clark, Morris Brown, and Tuskegee) holding continous membership over the years.
